Stepping into a new gallery always brings a transporting mix of freshness and anticipation.  Frequently, in the corner of my eye, I will spot a landscape with sky, water, steep hills.  Sometimes there is depth, and interesting light, and terrific composition. 

Infrequently, a lake I know very well will be featured. 

Anticipation turns to exhilaration.
